LEA Members

The Desert Mountain SELPA and Charter SELPA are part of CAHELP. They include school districts, charter schools, and public agencies in our region. These groups work together to support students with disabilities.

Each LEA provides special education services to students who qualify. These services follow the SELPA Local Plan. The plan explains how services are shared across agencies.

Schools work together to meet each student’s needs. Students may receive different types of support. This may include instruction, therapy, or behavior support.

These services help students reach their goals. This partnership helps provide consistent services across schools. It also helps staff share knowledge and support each other.

Together, they create strong support systems for students and families.

For more information about how special education services are coordinated and provided to students with disabilities, please view our SELPA local plans.
