Student Assistance Program (SAP)

About SAP

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) identifies students needing behavioral support, reduces stigma, and prevents issues from becoming severe. These challenges may include mental health concerns, substance use, social difficulties, or other life stressors.

SAP works with students, families, and school staff to provide preventative and early intervention services, education, and support. The program focuses on helping students build healthy skills and make positive choices.

By offering early support and prevention services, SAP helps students stay engaged in school and develop skills that support long-term well-being.

What is SAP?

SAP supports students to learn the skills to manage stress, solve problems, and build healthy relationships. The program provides preventative and early intervention services, education, and support that help students face challenges in positive ways.

Through supportive programs and guidance, SAP helps students strengthen their emotional well-being and develop skills that support success in school and everyday life.
